Hi I am interested in your Birel kart. Why are you selling it? Any spare wheels come with it? Looks like it was used for Junior class racing, I am looking for a kart Sr. Rotax, is this a Sr. kart or Junior kart? Please contact me. Thank you. Sean Scott (509) 520-2169 sean.scott@nelsonirrigation.com

We moved on and joined a Team that runs a different Chassis. My son absolutely loved this chassis and would keep it if we could run it with a Team that supported Birel. I've thought of keeping it for myself to run but we are running 3 classes this year and I will be busy tuning them for him to race (no time for me to play, HA!). It comes with the wheels that are on it only. I do not have a spare set to sell with it.
It is not a Junior specific Chassis. He ran it as a junior however we ran at PGP in Kent at a Senior light weight (350lbs). He has won 2 races there against Seniors and placed top 5 for the Summer Series. Think of it this way, he weighs 110lbs and the kart with engine weighs around 150lbs. We add 80lbs to it and another 10lbs in gas to make the 350 minimum. A 200lb adult would be the same total weigh (150+200=350). You could definitely run it in a Senior Class.
I have the seat that came with it but unless you are 12yo and weigh 90lbs you won't fit in it. I'll give you a call a bit later tonight. We had it at PSGKA last week for the club race (we took 2nd behind Brian Frank). Not sure if you were there and saw it or not.
